Shipping between African countries usually means three companies, three reference numbers, and nobody who can tell you where the parcel actually is. Trackboria runs the crossing as one shipment: collected from you, carried across the border, delivered in the destination country, under one reference your team and your customer both follow.
You see who is holding the parcel, what it should cost to land, and, once the journey legs are planned, which documents that lane usually needs, rather than finding out once it is standing at a border.
One shipment, not three
A parcel that changes hands more than once is still one shipment, with one reference and one status. You answer a customer once, instead of reconciling tracking numbers from three different companies first.
Custody you can prove
Every change of hands is confirmed by the person taking the parcel, at the moment it happens. When something goes missing, the record shows who held it last and when, instead of a gap.
The same shipment, whoever carries the leg
Some legs are worked by Trackboria riders and some by partner carriers, depending on the route. The shipment reads the same either way, and the handover into each leg is recorded, so you always know who is accountable for the parcel right now.
Documents ready before the border
The commercial documents a route needs are kept together on the shipment record and shared by link, rather than sitting in somebody's inbox. Trackboria holds the documents. It does not file the declaration.
Landed cost before you commit
Duty and import tax are estimated up front so you can price the order and decide who pays. They are labelled as estimates everywhere they appear, because the amount payable is set by the customs authority in the destination country and can be higher or lower.
A planned way back
If a parcel is refused, undeliverable or held, the return is planned as its own journey with the same custody record, not left as an open question. If it is lost or damaged, a claim is assessed against the cover that was in force on the day, and you can see where it stands.
Frequently asked questions
Which plan do I need for cross-border?
Every plan, Pay-as-you-go included. You can quote and book a shipment to another African country, and out of Africa, whatever plan you are on. Each cross-border shipment carries a Cross-Border Service Fee for the coordination, shown as its own line before you book, lower on each higher plan and not charged at all on Business and above. Reach does not change as you move up the plans: what changes is that fee, how many orders are included each month, and what each order beyond them costs. Cross-border shipments are prepaid on every plan.
Which routes can I actually book today?
Trackboria operates across Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, South Africa, Tanzania, Cameroon, Rwanda, Uganda, Zambia, Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire and Egypt, and a parcel can be addressed to any African country from there. Routes open corridor by corridor as the carrier and compliance work behind each one is finished, so being on the plan and having the route open are two different things. Can I ship outside Africa?
Export beyond Africa sits on the same footing as a crossing inside it: on every plan, subject to eligibility. Eligibility is the operational half, and no export lane is operational yet, so an export cannot be booked today. Intra-Africa corridors are the ones opening now. We would rather set that out here than have you find it at booking.
Do you clear customs for me?
No. Trackboria is not a customs broker and does not lodge declarations. The declaration is filed by you, a broker you appoint, or the carrier acting as declarant. We coordinate the shipment, hold the documents together, and record which party is filing, so there is never any doubt about who is responsible.
How much will duty be?
We show an estimate so you can price the order, and we label it as an estimate everywhere it appears. The final amount is determined by the customs authority in the destination country and can be higher or lower.
Do I need my own fleet in the destination country?
No. The delivery leg is worked by a Trackboria rider or by a partner carrier depending on the route, and the handover into that leg is recorded against the shipment either way.
Can my customer pay cash on delivery?
Not on a shipment that crosses a border. Those are settled before dispatch. Cash on delivery remains available on domestic deliveries in the markets that support it.
